Stray Kids Thank Fans for Helping ‘5-STAR’ Hit No. 1 on Billboard 200: ‘We Are Truly Humbled’

It’s a royal flush for Stray Kids, as the K-pop group scored its third No. 1 album in a row with the June 2 arrival of its latest album, 5-STAR. To celebrate, members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. shared a message with fans via Billboard on Tuesday (June 13) thanking them for their support.

Bang Chan kicked off the video with the announcement of the album’s chart placement. “We have heard some very excited news. It looks like we ranked No. 1 on this week’s Billboard 200 chart!” the rapper said, causing the rest of the group to erupt in cheers.

Felix added, “I mean, to us this is actually so mind blowing because even thinking about it, because it was only about a year ago since we’ve debuted at No. 1 on the chart and now we’re celebrating our third consecutive No. 1. Thank you so much STAY. Three times in a row! Three times.”

Seungmin followed and also gave STAY a shoutout of his own. “We would like to thank everyone who has been listening to our music and Billboard, and especially STAY for gifting us with this amazing achievement,” he said. “We are truly humbled, thank you.

“Another big thank you to STAYs and everyone. We are going to continue to create even more better Stray Kids music so please keep your eyes out for us. Thank you everyone,” Bang Chan concluded.

5-STAR follows Stray Kids’ previous Billboard 200 No. 1s: Oddinary and Maxident, both released in 2022.

AMD suggests the next-gen Xbox will arrive in 2027

Microsoft could launch the next-generation Xbox console sometime in 2027, AMD CEO Lisa Su has revealed during the semiconductor companys latest earnings call. Valve is on track to start shipping its AMD-powered Steam Machine early this year, she said, while Microsofts development of an Xbox with a semi-custom SOC from AMD is progressing well to support a launch in 2027. While it doesnt necessarily mean Microsoft is releasing a new Xbox console next year, that seems to be the companys current goal.

Xbox president Sarah Bond announced Microsofts multi-year partnership with AMD for its consoles in mid-2025. Based on Bonds statement back then, Microsoft is embracing the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in future Xbox games. She also said that the companies are going to co-engineer silicon across devices, in your living room and in your hands, implying the development of future handheld consoles.

In today's daily reflection, 40 days on from Christmas, we think about Mary and Joseph's journey to the Temple in Jerusalem, as was the custom to present their firstborn son to God."Compared to Christmas, it looks so utterly ordinary. No angels, no music, just a poor couple and a child that nobody notices. "But within is an elderly man who does. Simeon has waited his whole life for this moment, and what he sees through the eyes of faith is something extraordinary."
In today’s Daily Reflection we explore what motivates us in the “race of life.” Drawing on the image of running a half marathon, it reflects on how people strive for achievement, approval, or self-worth often trying to prove something to themselves or others. But this constant striving can be exhausting. The reflection turns to Jesus as offering a different purpose: having already run the perfect race and secured forgiveness and eternal life through the cross, he frees us from running to prove our worth. Instead, we are invited to live and run for him, motivated by gratitude and love rather than pressure or self-validation.WATCH THE DAILY REFLECTION ABOVE
